Technological Evolution Follow Up – Manager – Finance Division


Summary

The role is responsible for implementing the department’s internal work systems for developing programs aiming to transferring, preparing and extracting periodical required reports for the finance sector. Developing & systemizing non-periodic reports as per requests by the concerned departments in the finance sector to be ready for usage, in addition to providing technical and administrative supervision for the implementation of the developmental plans

Responsibilities

Coordination and communication with the finance sector departments to collect the information and the requests related to the department reports and study its details with the requesting party or any other concerned parties.

Coordination and communication with the IT department and the concerned departments to provide the data required/ needed for the transfer to the finance sector technical systems.

Developing and testing the programs/systems used for the data transfer, data operation and reports extraction in accordance with the priorities and the agreed upon timelines with other finance sector departments, meanwhile ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the reports’ information.

Supervising the second line of support for users' report and making sure that all problems are resolved in a timely manner.

Registering and following up on the requests of developing the system and required reports in addition to sending updates to the higher managerial level on periodical basis or upon request.

Managing the department’s program library & documenting the updates.

Managing & documenting the procedures of the updates/changes related to the programs and the reports.

Participate in developing the department’s work policies and systems and supervising their implementation.

Participate in giving the technical opinion on the projects assigned to the department.

Train the colleagues to use and benefit from available technologies and systems

Raising/escalating the problems and the obstacles that face development process on time to the higher managerial level for immediate action & support.


Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience, 2 of which within a supervisory role.

Relevant university background education

English Language proficiency from very good to excellent

Oracle Development Courses / trainings are preferred
