Purpose of the role
The successful candidate will act as a senior member in the commercial team, capable of handling complex commercial issues, deal directly with internal and external partners, identify any optimization opportunities and able to mentor and develop junior analysts within the commercial teamIn this role you will
- Represent the commercial team in taking care of internal and external partners on various business needs
- Identify optimization initiatives and carry out economic evaluations for new investments and scope optimizations to achieve best value to bp
- Support Business Development in agreements drafting
- Ensure existing commercial agreements are being implemented; identify and close any gaps in the implementation
- Support strategic and day to day Planning related deliverables for all planning cycles
- Provide relevant support to coordinate preparation of material for other strategic presentations for executive reviews
We have the following requirements
- Egyptian nationality
- Proficient in English
- 5-10 years of proven experience preferably in Finance and Commercial business in oil and gas industry
- Shown ability to integrate & influence multiple stakeholders to drive business value and efficiently deliver the plan
- Ability to manage data with the vital rigor and attention to detail to underpin informative analysis
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and the ability to build insights from data analysis and challenge the status quo
- Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing, networking and relationship building, and confirmed ability to influence key partners
- Proficient use of MS office
